Frame and Glazing

Your frame is expertly assembled from lengths of natural Obeche wood. This wood offers a rich buttery tone and beautiful natural grain. The frame can be finished as is or can be paired with one of three signature finishes.

The frame is fitted with crystal-clear Plexiglas (acrylic) glazing which also provides an intrinsic level of UV protection. Plexiglas is shatterproof and safe to handle around your home, office or gallery.

Your image will be printed onto our Epson Enhanced Matt paper using archival inks. The paper delivers a true photographic finish, with a smooth matt surface and a natural white base that accentuates highlights and produces vivid colours.

Mount

Your artwork is mounted by hinging the print onto a natural white window mount. The window mount is available in a selection of cut-out styles, which you can find in the product design window.

Selecting the full page layout (no white borders) in the designer will result in your image sitting edge-to-edge inside the frame. No window mount will be fitted.

The mounted print is then set back in the frame by using white spacers to separate the mount from the glazing by 40 mm.

Closure and Hanging

The back of each frame is fitted with a 3 mm wood panel and closed with flexi-pins. This makes it easy for you to swap out images later. If you wish to seal the back of the frame, you can make the selection during the ordering process.

Each frame is fitted with the recommended hanging hardware.
