HELP & ADVISE CENTRE FAQ
2. Can I use my existing frame for a new print/artwork?

Breathe new life into your old, existing frames – absolutely.
Most frames can easily be opened from the back for refitting of new prints/artwork. This is subject to sight and assessment of the frame. If the frame is in good structural condition, we shouldn’t have any trouble.
Upon refitment, we will assess the glazing to make sure there are no visible scratches or cracks and we will often move the hanging fixtures into fresh holes on the back of the frame to ensure that they are stable – keep this in mind if the existing frame has already been hung on your wall. We do our best to “touch-up” existing frames but in some cases the frame material does not allow for this.
